The number of divisions determines the number of pauses and movements of the output shaft within a working cycle. For example, in automatic drug sorting equipment, a high number of partitions may be required to achieve precise sorting of multiple drugs. The speed of movement is related to production efficiency, and high-speed equipment requires cam curves to ensure accuracy and stability during high-speed stages. Generally speaking, when the speed is high, curves such as conjugate cam curves that can effectively reduce vibration and impact are better choices.
In addition, the precision requirements for equipment operation cannot be ignored. For high-precision machining equipment, such as precision electronic component manufacturing equipment, cam curves are required to accurately control the position and motion state of the output shaft. In this case, some specially designed high-precision cam curves are needed, which can be determined through complex mathematical models and optimization algorithms to meet the requirements of micrometer level or even higher precision motion control.
