Gear planetary reducers have higher transmission efficiency, with higher torque and more stable transmission on high-power planetary reducers; Small power gear reducers also use helical gears to reduce transmission errors.
The difference between spur planetary gearbox and helical planetary gearbox:
1、 Structure:
Straight tooth servo reducer: The internal sun gear, planetary gear, and ring gear are all meshed with straight teeth.
Diagonal servo gearbox: The internal sun gear, planetary gear, and ring gear are all meshed with helical teeth.
2、 Accuracy:
Straight tooth planetary reducer: The first level accuracy is within 10 arc minutes, and the precision can reach 6 arc minutes.
Diagonal planetary reducer: The first level accuracy is around 5 arc minutes, and the precision is within 1 arc minute.
3、 Transmission torque and efficiency:
Straight tooth planetary gearbox: Under the same base, straight teeth mesh and transmit torque less than helical tooth planetary gearbox, resulting in lower efficiency.
Diagonal planetary gearbox: Under the same machine base, the helical teeth mesh and transmit more torque than the straight planetary gearbox, resulting in smooth transmission, high strength, and high efficiency.
